Nichole H, Cabin 7 September 2026: Location is scenic, quiet and very relaxing. The option to utilize the pontoon boat, canoe, kayak and motor-boat were such a great addition. We had a great time. Cabin was quaint, clean and comfortable.

Gail W, Cabin 2, June 2026: Great hosts. Loved the availability of pontoons, kayaking etc, cozy and beautiful wooded area. Lake Jasper was Georgous and 15 minute walk to boundary waters area where a beautiful lake and nature was amazing.You needed to bring pretty much zelch for the cabin as all cooking supplies were provided. Comfy beds. Took an art class one evening which was great fun. Ely was about a 20 minute drive into town with lovely stores as well as the international Wolf Center, Dorothy Molter Museum and much more.

Carl K, Cabin 4, July 2026: Everything was pretty much as advertised, we primarily went here for the lake and fishing ability. The lake was nice and productive but tricky to fish at times. The cabin was neat, clean and very comfortable and the proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful.

Our host Tracy kept us updated on all the wild fires in the area and kept us safe. I pray everyone else also stayed safe. I would love to return another year in the fall to see more beautiful views.

Adam H Cabin 6 July 2025: We stayed here for a fishing trip with 5 adult men. Had a great time, the lake and scenery is beautiful. We caught some nice fish and saw lots of wildlife on the lake, and there are other beautiful lakes nearby as well. Cabin was rustic and cozy as listed but they had everything you’d need, a bed for all of us and is in a great location. Was wonderful sleeping to the sound of the creek running right outside. The resort boat landing was a little steep for my minivan to pull my boat back out but the owner was very gracious and used their truck to pull it up and back up the hill. We had a dock spot and got a free 4 hours on a very nice pontoon as well, would highly recommend.

Tim W Cabin 2 May 2026: What a great place! And to make it better, the property manager, Tracy and the owner, Joe, are wonderful people. So accommodating and friendly. Our luggage was delivered two days later, and both Joe and Tracy brought over personal clothing for us to use. It is a great getaway if you are looking for quiet and nature. Will definitely return!

Brad G. Cabin 6 May 2026: Property is just as listed with good view of lake and nice stream with walking bridges. Pontoon ride was great to see the lake and fishing boats operated great with life jackets provided. Cabin was clean and all amenities enabled us to cook everything we brought. Very courteous management. Really enjoyed my trip with son in law and two grandkids!!

A little slice of heaven

We had a super relaxing time at Northwind Lodge. Our cabin was right on the water and very private. The allowed use of the pontoon and the kayaks/canoes was a nice touch. Beautiful Lake with Lots To Do: My husband and I loved staying at the cabin for one week. We didn't want to leave! The cabin is set close to the lake with a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time on the lake fishing, swimming, and exploring. We enjoyed having access to various watercraft (i.e. canoe, fishing boat, pontoon boat, paddle board...there were other craft available too). The fishing was quite good (my husband caught several pike). The water was clear and refreshing. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The location is close enough to make trips into town. The cabin is very basic, but had what we needed. I would love to stay here again! Dianne B. Cabin 7, 2025
